THE NEEDS, DESIRES AND URBAN PLANNING:
Nature is privileged in the area of Los Pinares de San Antón, Malaga, where this urbanization of 8 exclusive and unique houses is located, they are steep pine mountains and projecting rocks, typical of the Mediterranean mountains.
The guiding idea was to surround the old farmhouse, remodeled for a social club, by the southern area at a lower level, with the houses going down the steep slope without interfering with each other the sea views, it reminds us with its Mediterranean / minimalist style the contradictory relationship between Le Corbusier's "Living Machine" and pure nature.
THE ARCHITECTURE:
The 8 houses are different in their volume, each one adapting to the part of the land to which it belongs, given the abrupt nature. The Mediterranean style allowed us, thanks to its heavy envelope, to form different assemblages of different archetypal volumes for each one, thus achieving that each one has its own personality, while respecting the homogeneity of the whole.
The steep slope of the land suggested to the architects that the double-height living room should be at the heart of the houses, around which all the other rooms are developed. This double height heart visually joins the two main floors that make up the housing program.
Each one is accessed through the street of the urbanization into a hall with spectacular views of the bay of Malaga. A core of vertical circulation formed by an elevator and a staircase distributes us down through the three floors of the house. On the main floor there is the double-height living room with large windows overlooking the sea, the kitchen, a bedroom / library and the large terrace over the pool with a solarium. On the upper floor, the two main en-suite bedrooms were arranged.
INTERIOR DESIGN AND DECORATION:
Undoubtedly, the interior design is imbued with the Mediterranean / minimalist style of pure, straight lines, but with curved or sinuous touches to blend into the terrain.
The light and the views of the sea, the double height of the living room and the flown terraces are the protagonists of these houses.
This type of real estate development is personalized by the owners, infusing their home with their own personality with the furniture and decoration.
As an example, the show house was decorated with white on the walls, grays on the porcelain floors, fireplaces built into the walls, and timeless modern furniture to scale the spaces.
OUTSIDE:
Silence, solitude and the nature of the mountains prevail in these houses, this is the garden of the urbanization, the wild mountain that has been touched as little as possible. The flown terraces of natural woods on the steep slope simulate a bird's flight over the pine forest, enjoying the sun, the smells and the sunsets over the sea. Do not need us anything else ...
THE QUALITIES:
In the interiors of the houses, the qualities of the HIGH RANGE of INHABITANT were applied, with integrated systems for home automation control, underfloor heating, heat pump for air conditioning and solar panels for the production of sanitary hot water.
High-density rock wool insulation, CORTIZO RPT aluminum exterior carpentry, large-format porcelain floors, high-end toilets and taps.
The exterior facades are plastered and painted in lime white.
The terraces are made of iroko wood flooring with stainless steel railings.
